OK... but was my belief.. got all kinds of posts that way.. been the major theme in my PF for years.. There are no sure things.. that is why TA/FA all As are voodoo :O)

To me demographics is king.. and it told me emerging markets are emerging... and that the US has a long period of slow/no real growth.. with ultimately a lower standard of living.. but when adjustment accomplished.. once again a happy place.. They are not called the beautiful country in Chinese for nothing...

I believe Marc Faber talked about it in his 2002 book, "China's Gold", and there was similar talk earlier than that, as I recall.
