Ward, thank you, and I am well aware of WCOM and the William/Witel connction. Spent coutless hours trying to figure out if it means something. But one thing that I read awhile back was about UUNET's stance on Internet Telephony. They apparently don't believe that it is for real and aren't pursuing it at this time. This could be a smoke screen for a larger plan/ntwork they have planned, but I highly doubt it.

BTW, have any of you tried PEAK NET.JET?? I did a year ago and absolutely hated it because it took so damm long to read ahead. It basically sucked up bandwidth and my 33.6 just didn't cut it. But stop for a minute and think about FTEL application for it. A SATELLITE VERSION. This programs downloads pages and reads ahead, trying to learn where you are going next. Like I said w/ a 33.6 modem this just doesn't work, but a satellite SENDING info 20 times faster to your computer would make this product very valuable and worthwhile. My initial yawn to this release, has turned into promise of another revenue stream for FNET.
