Wishful thinking. However, it is possible for the economy
to grow even when the country is totally corrupt. Not yet,
I'm afraid, although all numbers will certainly be fudged.
2-4 years to the bottom, if we are lucky.

FWIW, the industrialization of Soviet Union proceeded at
extremely rapid pace under Mr. Stalin. Actually, record
breaking pace of economic growth! That was because
whoever disobeyed was shot. Prior to communist revolution
Russia was mostly growing stuff.

Might have to say RIP free markets. Nothing new there,
but it's official -ng-
