There is another way to de-activate a pentium chip, which will also bring your hard disk and peripherals to a halt. It's called the on-off switch. If hackers break into your office and hit this switch all your programs will cease to run and you may lose unsaved data. IMO, this risk is greater than that of the pentium bug.
