I understand it all to well!

I spent most of my adult life in sales. I had quite a few sales records. I can't tell you how many times I had a terrific week and then the next week I couldn't give stuff away.

The amount of enthusiasm, energy and intensity could not be sustained week after week after week.

The Rangers were "jacked up" for the Yankees and they are experiencing an emotional let down. That makes all the difference in the world.

That difference is so significant that a good example would be the difference between boiling water and steam. The difference of one degree determines whether water is very hot or if it creates steam ... and steam can move a locomotive.

The Ranger fans might be able to get their team to raise their emotional level that one extra degree that could make the difference. We'll see.

I'm still rooting for the Giants though.
