Paul: thanks for helping keep this thread active! Drilling at the Elkhorn would likely be done by the new J-V partner. I don't have a timetable since the deal hasn't been done yet, but I have a high degree of confidence regarding one. This is partly due to the nature of the expected J-V partner and their existing operations in the area. They will need plenty of mill feed within 12 months, and the Elkhorn is 20 miles away; close enough for ore trucks. Since the deal isn't done, we don't want to bandy their name about and sound anxious, which is why we're keeping that part discreet. Bacon Island is also a part of MWR, they have 30% BPO/15% APO. A re-drill is very likely but will probably await a 3-D seismic in the spring being run by Texaco. As you can tell, news isn't imminently soon on anything, but the price well reflects that.
