Lee, it's often true, but with this one???? Many times before I thought we reached bottom. Obviously at 9 and change, the bottom can not be to far!!

The assertion that too much pessimism indicates that the bottom is near is wrong. I am sure there was a lot more pessimism when Shiva went from $80+ to lets say $50, but $50 was not the bottom.

What's happening to Shiva NOW, is not management's fault. The whole
networking sector is in downtrend (ASND, COMS, ...) Aslo, the tech sector is not performing too well. The same for market in general.
After an up year, a lot of portfolio managers are getting rid of stinkers like SHIVA to offset loses and gains.

With all new products, even if there is an improvement in revenue, I don't think it will be obvious until 2nd QTR.Unless somebody offers to buy them out, or the reworked agreement with NORTEL will contain some positive surprises (don't hold your breath), there is nothing to move SHIVA's stock UNTIL:

1) market resumes it's up move (whenever that will happen)
2) tech / networking stocks begin moving up

By the time the market and tech sector resume an up move, hopefully, SHIVA will show an improvement in revenue and earnings.
