Williams likes to anticipate turns,

He keeps a reasonable Risk to Reward and trails a stop.

If a market is trending he only enters in the same direction as the trend on a signal. I believe he may prefer to get the signal to reverse trend and trade in that direction whenever he sees the Risk Reward is in his favor.

Providing the Market moves in his direction he moves the stop up rapidly. So even if he is incorrect as to the change and duration his losses are kept to manageable size.

I tend to think his "TV" spots are good warnings. Actually trading them is a more advanced skill.
