The (Small) World Champion San Francisco Giants ...

<< Eric, don't the 2010 Giants remind you of the '69 Mets? >>

No ... but simply because in '69 I was following MLB hardly at all. Back then we were living on the NH beach I grew up on some 50 miles north of Boston. The baseball season (my golfing and water skiing season) was sandwiched in between the Bill Russell led Celtics winning yet another NBA title. the Patriots struggling along even worse than usual, and Bobby Orr and Phil Esposito leading the Bruins to a Stanley Cup. No time for even the AL BoSox. much less the NL Mets.

In many respects, however, the 2010 Giants did remind me of the '08 Phillies. They sure had a great Series.
