oh gosh, no it doesn't Surely you can see the difference if you think of how you might treat President Bush if you were to meet him. You might think of him as a moron, but surely you would treat him with respect. Or if you get all hung up on the idea that it is the office you respect, then pick a banker you disrespect. Would you address him in a disrespectful way? Good morning Mr Tea bagging banker you scum sucking lowlife? Of course not. If you can't see the difference that means you would treat every person you don't respect with disdain doesn't it? That's awful! But maybe people hate Tea Party people so much they can't even talk to them. That's sad. On a daily bases I deal with people I do not respect - but I always treat them respectfully.
