That's because when the leaders are blatantly racist, its clear that its more than just "a few examples or people".

It just isnt true for a whole group, whether repub, dem, tea party folks, black, white, etc.

And it is wrong to paint them as such.

You cannot have said it better. I am a lifelong Republican and I do not consider myself as a racist. As a matter of fact my two daughter-in-laws are hard working Vietnamese, and my wife and I love them dearly. My next door neighbors are black, and we are good friends. My other neighbors are Phillipinos, and we get along real well.

So there. I am sure that there are many Republicans who are as color blind.
