The Republican establishment, so supine when McCain made his choice and so gleeful when Palin attacked Democrats, cannot get this particular genie back in the bottle. Palin has become a force, and anyone who watched her Sunday had to conclude that she might well run for president. The polls say she can't win. I betcha Palin thinks she can't lose.

Precisely right. There's no doubt now that she's running. And no doubt that the Rep establishment is deeply worried.

One of the professionals wrote this in response to the obituary of Sorensen:

Obit--> “It was only after we had crisscrossed the country and began to build support at the grass roots, largely unrecognized in Washington, where Kennedy was dismissed as being too young, too Catholic, too little known, too inexperienced,” Mr. Sorensen said in the interview.

Professional response--> This kind of reminds me of a woman who's been pretty active politically in the last 2 years. She's too this, too that, too much the other........

They adore her.

She frightens me, lol....
