AAPL won't team up with ORCL until it's stock drops to $10.

Yeh we are the ones who screwed up here. I'm a Wintel guy - I bought into Apple early in the year because of Rhapsody. Rhapsody is still there, the Microsoft partnership is still there, NCs are most likely still there perhaps with an Oracle alliance. Rhapsody on Intel is still there. In short most everything discussed is still there. In retrospect, though if Jobs had emphasized any of this he would have taken the focus off the new G3 and OS8 and thats where the revenue stream is right now. He also might have alienated the Mac faithful which would have disrupted the revenue stream just as they are trying to return to profitability. So he's focusing on his core customers, focusing on the basics right now. It's too early for the other stuff to crowd the spotlight. I also doubt he has any sympathy for speculative buyers - so back to the core values. I'll have to get some new 1st call reports etc. and see if anyone upped earnings estimates on this news - thats where he wants to focus for now - the rest of the stuff is still there but down the road.
