a ballot initiative that is passing that changes the law so that all it takes is a simple majority to pass the State's budget. There you go! They can't raise RE taxes. So the only way out is Income and Sales tax. The top Income rate there is 10%. They are going to have to go after the middle income people to raise much more. Look for the 10% rate to applied to more people. Sales Tax in Orange county is already 8.75% Might as well round it off at 10% to make it easier to calculate.
