Did anyone hear the CNBC thing on ASND this morn. It was the guy from "insiders" newsletter. I caught the end of it, but it sounded like more bashing. Imagine that :-) Chris

Gary's list says: Dear Santa, Please,please,please Buyout!Ascend @ $40! Jeff, I would get along okay without a buyout. Ultimately, the stock will move up from a p.e. of 22, particularly as revenue is predicted to increase by at least 33% in 1998. Notwithstanding, I just believe that the evidence suggests an acquisition. I would peg the price at about 8 x sales, or about 48/share. As an update to that evidence, there have been no additional insider sales at ASND since late October (I think it ended about the 3rd week or early in the 4th week). Likewise, no additional insider sales at CPQ since late October. Likewise, no additional insider sales at COMS. Gary Korn
