African American Allen West asked a young boy to lead the room in the Pledge of Allegiance after he was elected US Congressman from Florida.

West then said ``this is government of the people, by the people and for the people'' the crowd joined him in unison.

The lefties who congregate on this thread must be elated that an African American won this election, whipping his white opponent and taking a seat in the US Congress.
