Thanks to the Tea Party. Had it not been for them, the democrats would have had greater support and things could have continued poorly...

Kenneth you are a political idiot-----you may be a good lawyer but your sense of what is happening now in politics is skewed.

While the Democrats were attempting to save the major seats Americans, the grassroots as called in politics, were working day and night to take the majority of the Congressional seats ------creating an historic change not seen since 1934.

This is a political movement like the one that put President Ronald Reagan in office.

The main difference in 2010 is that it is now a different generation of Americans who are fed up with the direction the Socialist Democrats keep attempting to take America.

They are the young Americans who are bent on stopping the Socialistic movement.

The Dems such as Boxer and Reid are now wounded, bruised limping politicans. Obama is licking his wounds and is already attempting to 'find common ground'-------sure I'll sell you the Brooklyn Bridge, the Westminster Bridge, the San Francisco Bay Bridge if you believe what Mr. Obama says.

ken..."The Tea Party caused losses in Delaware, Colorado and Nevada. It appears the Republicans could have won the Senate but for the Tea Party candidates."....

Ya mean with different candidates Republicans would have won in those states?

So what you are saying is that voters held their noses and voted for your cult goons?

Some of the things you say really still do surprise me

The Tea Party caused losses in Delaware, Colorado and Nevada.

no, the movement simply gave a choice where there was no choice before. choosing between two socialists is no choice at all for conservatives.

i believe there was also widespread voter fraud. it is going to be investigated. socialism's essence is theft. it is ingrained in everything they do. it should come as no surprise at all that they are trying to steal elections. they steal and lie and lead the innocent gullible. the innocent gullible are their emissaries of doom. their elite are fundamentally evil.

Without the Tea Party support Republicans wouldn't have won this election, so the Tea Party clearly did not cause the Republicans to fail to gain the senate.

And if the Republicans won the senate by voting in a large number of RINOs, or by supporting Republicans who had gotten to comfortable with the percs of power and the big spending ways of national government in recent years, than winning wouldn't be much of a gain. I don't think Republicans should never support RINOs, I've argued here than in some circumstances, when some of the better ones are running, and when there is never any chance that any real conservative, or conservative leaning libertarian, could be elected, having a couple of them around can be useful. But if we make them the driving force of the party, then the parties core supporters would be discouraged, and the Republicans would lose power in the next election. And even if the Republicans somehow maintain control with such people in power, we won't accomplish much, I care more about ideas and policies than partisan success. Electing people with an R after their name, doesn't help if they contribute to the the growth of big government.

If the Republicans took the senate by electing several RINOs than they still wouldn't be able to move through a positive agenda, but since they would control both houses, they would get blamed for their lack of progress. Maybe if the president was a good small government conservative, than getting those few extra seats would be worthwhile, but under the circumstances, sending a message to Republicans that if they become part of the problem, we won't support them, is a more important achievement.
