I understand but others may find it interesting that the FTC denied requests for easier patent transfer restrictions. It was widely reported that the agreement allowed Via and AMD to be acquired and transfer their cross license agreements. As it turns out it only prohibits Intel from suing for 30 days and requires that they negotiate for a year. No requirement that the negotiations be fruitful.

More indication that the FTC knew their had a very weak hand...
