Sounds like the GOP establishment are loading their pistol and thinking about putting the barrel in their mouth. If they start a fight with tea party, it is over for them...

While I realize that it couldn't possibly have been intentional, the resulting political topography couldn't have turned out better for Republicans.

They've acquired more than enough leverage to stop the President and his agenda in its tracks, but not so much that he can run a "Truman/Do-Nothing Congress" campaign in '12. Old School Republican leaders should be happier than a pig in... well, slop for the position they're in.

Only suggestion I'd pass along is, Quitcher Bitchin' and work with what you've got.

The more I hear this sort of whining from Republican insiders, the more I think maybe their time has come and gone. Maybe they are incapable of learning from their mistakes.

They (Republicans) make some progress and I'm sure the public will give them a little more juice next time around.

Sabbato should support his statement with names-----who called and said thus and thus.-----were they disgruntled Democrats? Were they the extreme left of the Republican Party----there is a left in the Republican Party that always protests when the moderate and conservative Republicans win.

The argument about those seats being lost because of the Tea Party is nonsense. Without the Tea party the wins in those states would have been much greater and no take over of Congress in the House---------as there would have been no challenge in the seats won by the Republicans, Independents and Democrats who now see the truth.

Those candidates supported by the grassroot tea party people caused the Dems to have to spend big bucks, millions on the seats they won. That meant fewer dollars to spend on the seats taken by the winners in other states.

Those Obama leaders hands are now tied thanks to Americans who supported the concepts of the tea party.

The credit goes to the grassroots' tea party folks for taking control of the House by the Republicans.

I submit that the grassroots that represented Americans of all kinds were the key to winning Congress.

How does Sabbato know that those sending him notes aren't the disenchanted Democrats. Sabbato needs a few more tweets from the mainstream Americans.
