This forum will definitely keep going; I will always have some interest in politics and foreign affairs, that's a lifelong affliction. I started this thread when I was in Lesotho, and my SI career spans Mauritius, Sarajevo, and Amsterdam too before we came back to Virginia. I am just finding politics as practiced in the US right now especially disgusting and futile. So I don't have any reason to jump in deep and agonize over every little thing. Ironically, even though I am one of the younger regular posters on SI, I am part of the "old guard" in terms of tenure here, with no plans to depart at any foreseeable time. I just hope Bob doesn't decide he is no longer into the site at some point and chuck it all. I'd have to restructure my computing time drastically if that happened.
