Bob, what IS significant is either a hold or break of 920 on the S&P.

It doesn't take volume to produce either scenario. The hold was actually on Friday/Monday. We need to have follow through on the bounce up...*now*...for that hold to mean anything.

Frankly, I don't see today's holiday as being a significant drain on volume. Lack of interest maybe. And that can be a good thing. Investors are still too leery to commit to the market. The prevailing opinion is that this is a rally to sell into.

I like that. Trepidation is fertle ground for a market rally.
