You should see the politics here...if you've the stomach for it. Colleen Hanabusa won the fed House seat. She was the D leader in the State house forever it seems. Some highlights: 10 years ago she pushed through a $75,000,000 special tax break for Disney Hotel developer Jeff Stone. The then D gov. Cayetano was so appalled that his folks couldn't get the same gravy that he vetoed the bill. Hanabusa then became engaged to a dirty ex-cop who is neck deep in Hawaiian mafia hits, meth dealers, etc. One of his best buds was caught knocking off three guys(paid hit) on a golf course one night. He said, "everyone deserves a second chance" when the judge let him skate. Lingle came in as the R Gov. and Hanabusa again got the 75m tax break bill pushed through. Lingle signed it, appointed Hanabusa's crooked cop husband to be Hawaii State Sheriff and he then received a sweetheart deal(free!) condo at Disney's Ko'olina Resort curtesy of Mr. Stone. The above is just the tip of the iceberg.... The amazing thing is this is all reported in the news and these idiots still vote her in repeatedly. She ran on a platform of "family values". LMAO!
