Of course Israel is an aggressor nation, it has to be to survive.

This describes every sovereign nation on the planet Stig. When attacked nations tend to respond in kind.

It seems like Israel expects the conquered to simply lay down like a doormat and accept their plight.....not going to happen that way unless you're in Tibet. Therein lies the rub......

Your scenario of the conquered people to simply lay down Stig.... When a people attack and then lose the war they started reapplication for the lands that were lost is usually turned down.

why do we need this?!?
I would direct you towards yesterdays political results. We get to vote and then after that we accept the results. Your question is noted so go vote someone else in office who will spend your tax $$'s the way you want them to be spent.

Let Israel take their own fight to Iran.....we don't need to be involved.
That is a very naive statement Stig. You can figure out the international significance of the Persian Gulf on your own.

I'm guessing you're jewish and have a real vested interest in this conflict. I appreciate that and can understand why you take the position you do. My position.....it's time we rethink our stance and take care of more important issues at home......period. You can have the last word.....I've wasted enough time on this topic.

Plenty of issues to think about in these times. Looks like we took a giant step forwards in that process yesterday.

Thanks.
