-5% must be followed on by -10% then back-stopped by -15%, else japan beckons and argentina winks. So much more foolish to respond to zimbabwe come-hither on stiletto hooker heals.

At some juncture we must leverage.

According to San Fran fed, the current real rate is -2% but it should be -5% to reduce unemployment. Today's 600bln qe2 is equiv to 75bps cut so there is scope even within fed's own studies that much much more qe is required!

Wow...front run the fed and just buy everything which is what I m going to do.

From The New York Times:

The Federal Reserve’s bond-buying plan carries risks, including the possibility of inflation. But as the months go by, the effects of its nonaction have proved to be the problem.

Am in favor of putting all obligatory investment allocations (ie those for immigration, life insurance, back-stop annuity) into metals of the purest grade.

The platinum bars bought @ 790-1000/oz with then 2008 Q4 terminated AIG contracts did nicely since, for-sure double, and now looking forward to easy-double-again.

Like sure bets.

Great

I am hoping that I can put some of my restricted hk investments (needed for immigration in this bucket)

Better then zero yield bonds
