Paul You might as well buy all mutual funds.

The idea is to diversify away business risk (example: OXHP). The problem with mutual funds is that there is entirely too much churning in them and they are heavily laden with expenses, so they tend to underperform the market. You can be quite aggressive with a 12-15 stock portfolio by choosing high growth stocks.
