I think that Obama should extend Bush's tax cut for another 2 years, including no death taxes. The stock market will skyrocket, and people will feel that their wealth increases significantly and start spending to boost the economy. When 2012 shows that the economy rebound, Obama will be unbeatable for his second term. Of course another boost will be Hillary as VP which will counter Rubio as VP candidate. As a second term President, he can do what he wants for the next 4 years.

Red States Feed at Federal Trough, Blue States Supply the Feed

Here's a great idea for the new GOP congress... limit these states to $1 for each $1 paid in taxes. Want to cut Fed spending? Start with the pigs...

1. D.C. ($6.17)
2. North Dakota ($2.03)
3. New Mexico ($1.89)
4. Mississippi ($1.84)
5. Alaska ($1.82)
6. West Virginia ($1.74)
7. Montana ($1.64)
8. Alabama ($1.61)
9. South Dakota ($1.59)
10. Arkansas ($1.53)

Exactly. CA and NY may have no choice.
