Great idea except in snowy climes where snow stays on cool LEDS and we can't see the lights. <ng>

Old hot incandescence melted the snow. A case of mixed effects due to advanced technology.

we are starting to ship sample/pilot orders of led tubes for bathrooms of small building belonging to very large institution holding many very large portfolio of buildings all over the world

we are also specifying wind/solar streetlights for some corners of some cities

been studying "buy america" laws and have concluded that (i) the folks who wrote it did not know anything about the real world, but (ii) were clever enough to leave gaping holes through which container loads can pass unobstructed.

i have led bulbs burning in my home. not ready for primetime but good enough for now.
