Tom, are mutual funds illegal? I was just wondering, because I've always thought of them as a group of individuals investing together for the common purpose of gain. In fact, I think mutual funds must be highly illegal, because they are more organized, and because large institutional buys and sells often have a serious impact on the securities involved.
