Exxon publishes a magazine for shareholders, "The Lamp." Just finished reading an article in it about how they are revitalizing
old oil fields with new technology, 3D, electronic logging, hydraulic fracturing, horizontal drilling, etc.

The story spoke specifically about Texas and the Gulf of Mexico, where they more than replaced production with new reserves for the last three years. They say that production in one area has doubled since
1994. (King Ranch).

I'm posting this because GDP's fields were mostly discovered in the
1940's thru early 60's, similar to the ones in this story. My spirits regarding Goodrich have been sagging with the oil and gas price declines. I feel a little better since reading this story. Hope the King's Ridge discovery is a big one.
