if an old guy is 100% in the market (down from 120%)(created his own crazy mutual fund)(doesn't even own a home), which includes some tips,(his only bonds) some short tlt, some gld, some slv, lots of tech, lots of oil, lots of pharma, and he is back at his all time high, how much should he take off the table - and where should he put it. he has been up and down - is in high beta - has many positions - but no where like any index - and has big positions in some - including a crazy small cap. has enough to live reasonably. he should preserve capital and not suffer a huge decline like he did in 2000 and 2008.
