I don't have a view of Callon CPE. Boom Boom Room is a good place to ask. Callon had a problem with their offshore operation 2 years ago, 70% of their reserves written off. Latest press release is about two good wells, one with 500 bbls of oil and the other a shale gas well with 10 mmcfd flow and 7000 psi pressure, which is good. They have some cash, 31 million, but also 160 million long term debt. They are going to be VERY sensitive to both the oil and gas prices. This looks like it could be a very good stock - chart action looks good. But, it will need more Due Diligence from me. They have hedges, also, I need to get some one's opinion on their geology.
