Hey Spaarky,

Re: "On the slide, the Bulldozer arrow very clearly starts in 2010. If they didn't want people
to think it was a 2010 product they would have lined it up with 2011 ..."

Yes, it's clearly as you state ... Some here are in "Da Nile", big time.

Mahmoud

CJ insists I made it up. He can't see it and everybody who claims to is a liar.

Go figure...

You have absolutely nailed it on AMD's "Marketing Tactics" here and only the most biased and/or in denial would say otherwise.

Bravo.

On the slide, the Bulldozer arrow very clearly starts in 2010. If they didn't want people to think it was a 2010 product they would have lined it up with 2011, or used the same format they used in that slide-deck for the desktop and mobile roadmaps. AMD was leaving themselves their the normal wiggle room they need when they aren't confident about their schedules, yet want analysts to assume the best.

"If they didn't want people to think it was a 2010 product they would have lined it up with 2011"

Nonsense. The slide didn't exist in isolation, there was audio with it.

Bulldozer isn't a product, it is a technology. The slide clearly indicates that the products, Interlagos and Valencia, are 2011 products. That you don't comprehend this simple fact is amazing.

Now, having said that, some Bulldozer products do exist and are sampling. But they won't be available until 2011. As they have been saying for a while now.
