no, it wasn't that you were just saying the small businesses in that program were 'blaming the banks'

i agree with you probably the best thing that could happen that they DON'T get a loan to subsidize a failing business...its merely throwing good money after bad, if you would have left it there, without the 'woe is me' snark it your statement would have been acceptable

but you went on to say :

that is simply false

and it implies that the small business owners who are struggling in this environment are a bunch of whiners who don't put their own capital at risk...

that is complete and utter bullshit

i repeat...most small business owners have used their own savings, home equity, credit cards, family loans, WHATEVER to stay afloat....i know of very few who are begging at a bank

they do whatever they can with their personal resources, but its not enough, and will NEVER be enough when you have a federal reserve and washington doing everything they can to protect the oligarch bankers and the GEs and the GMs of the world
