OTOH... our oil reserves ex oilsands are up dramatically and not really being counted yet it seems) thx to the same drilling (multi frac/horizontal) that has put the US awash in NG.. I'd question that 17 years also.. At any rate.. I have no oilsands for a while and a lots of and lots of various Cardium/Bakken plays ... I agree though that we may not be in such a Catbird Seat... EDIT: you already know my kids will be prepared to go where the opportunities are :O)

Exxon has been making huge bets on natural gas - maybe they have a longer outlook on things then most of us or maybe they see things the rest of us fail to notice. Maybe it's time to ride their coattails.
