OTOH... our oil reserves ex oilsands are up dramatically and not really being counted yet it seems) thx to the same drilling (multi frac/horizontal) that has put the US awash in NG.. I'd question that 17 years also.. At any rate.. I have no oilsands for a while and a lots of and lots of various Cardium/Bakken plays ... I agree though that we may not be in such a Catbird Seat...

EDIT: you already know my kids will be prepared to go where the opportunities are :O)

Exxon has been making huge bets on natural gas - maybe they have a longer outlook on things then most of us or maybe they see things the rest of us fail to notice. Maybe it's time to ride their coattails.

BTW... you know the US is awash in NG right now.. so the oilsands requirements may not be in terrible jeopardy.. an nice reciprocal trade ?
