(And if you think a non-privileged program is not able to crash Linux - sorry, you are wrong). >It would hit small ISPs running these decent OS. ISPs that allow users to compile and run any (malicious or not) on Pentium machines running Linux are already at risk - yet, their users do not seem to be deliberately crashing their systems regularly.
