"US was running out of NG what a few years ago.. now it's drowning in the stuff... " Not too many years from now, the US will be a net exporter of energy. There will be so much gas and oil around, that I would not be surprised that the US continues to lag the world in building nuclear plants. Why bother? Those costs are so very high in the beginning compared to what the new technologies are bringing from hydrocarbons. ...and the "global warming" issue has been so discredited, it is hardly mentioned anywhere in recent months.
