The people are keeping their attention razor sharp to see how the Republicans go about reducing the deficits so that "they can produce jobs". The Republicans know well that they got a second chance and many in their party would strongly advocate that they not squander it away through frivolous investigation that will not promote the creation of jobs. Expect to hear the mantra from the democrats on Sunday morning talk shows something like " tell how what you doing will create jobs."

Also, "What starts in California eventually takes root across the nation." Beware. We are where were are because of 33 years of R govs and 5 years of a Dem (or 41 R and 13 D, with Raygun). They recalled the Dem and put in Arnie (which prolly backfired cuz he is the jolly Green Giant, (or shortguy; my daughter sez he's only like 5'8" or 10"). At least we know the R's won't try and impeach a Dem, don't we? Raygun, 1966; actually, the Blue Max in '62. It took them almost 50 years, but they fucked us royally.
