That's probably the most fair way of doing it. Or just freeze the total budget, then allocate within that dollar amount. Choosing priorities is the key toward proper budgeting. Just like most of us have to do. For example, if SS needs to be increased, pay for it by reducing defense spending. Or vice-versa. Okay who gets higher priority......the Seniors, those on disability; those on Medicare, those in the military etc. And let me know what you plan to do when Seniors get evicted from their homes because they can't pay the rent or mortgage, people start keeling over because they can't get their medications, the military refuses to fight because they ain't getting paid, etc. You get my drift......the stuff that happens before anarchy breaks out. Oh yeah.....we are getting real close to the breaking point in this country. Ever been in a riot....they are lots of fun. ;-) But you want to make sure the rich keep their tax cuts, right? I never said anything about the "rich." You're the one who keeps bringing them up. So you are for letting the tax cuts to the rich expire? AMIRITE? Please clarify. Even if it means people die sooner because of inadequate health care.....is that right? America did just fine without ObamaCare. No, you did fine....not all of America....YOU DID! See how that works....the good Christian Ten is only concerned about himself......me. "What makes things better for ME.....myself, my wife and I, my family.
