I need you for this one. See, there are boxes within which people think.

Call that mindsets, culture…

That means I think within a box.

TJ does within another.

You inside another again

The Chinese, Moslems, South East Asians and so forth think inside their boxes.

It worked fine for my grandfather who lived within a radius of 50Km.

For my father that lived with 400Km radius.

For my generation the radius -within which people operate- is the hole world.

That means although we do not affect what happens 16.000km away from us, what happens there hit us.

That forces people to tackle complex issues.

What has this to do with narrow gauge thinking? you may be asking.

A lot.

See, I think outside my box for the past 25 years. Thus I can see –or at least I try- to see other peoples angles.

I turn things around and give them a hard look.

After trying to get inside all those other people’s boxes I’ve got a pretty good understanding how people feel about issues.

I see things that although are in front of their eyes they cannot perceive. They are wedded to their way of thinking, so comfortable within it that they can’t even try to understand what other are telling them.

When I look to energy in North America and I see how people are approaching, I start getting really worried.

They have problems upon them that they know they are there.
