As if on queue you miss the point completely but nevertheless, you are conceding that it shows BullDozer starting something in 2010. That was my point.

If the leftmost edge of the arrow is supposed to imply "something" (i.e. anything) about BD, then "BD sampling" coincidental with that edge would make that slide accurate.

You've been portraying that slide as an AMD falsehood, a lie to shareholders.

Yet you allow enough wiggle room in the interpretation of that slide to allow for it to be accurate for a range of outcomes.

I have not seen CJ dispute that the left edge of the arrow starts in 2010... Just whether you can interpret/infer anything definitive about it.

The slide simply accommodates a wide range of interpretations and can't be used for the basis of making definitive statements.

Who is making definitive statements based on the slide: Elmer or CJ?

Re: the slide shows SOMETHING starting in 2010 for BullDozer

Yep, and since those slides are sent to their OEM customers, it makes sense that they are talking about the sample which (so far) are expected to ship in 2010 (you know, like the slide says).

More importantly, those samples will be able to do error-free arithmetic and compile Linux - unlike Intel's mass production parts, much less their samples.
