Note, I'm only seeking people like him in places like MA, where you can't get anything else.

then let them take responsibility for the policies they implement.

------

If there is a serious chance to elect a real conservative, I wouldn't support the RINO.

conservatives pay a hidden price for electing RINOs. the liberals get to say that conservative policies don't work because republicans were in power and disaster followed. the average voter doesn't know that many republicans have become liberal. that little fact leads to disaster for true conservatives in elections. liberals have tarnished the republican label. the average voter sees no difference between them. all they see is the R or D next to the name and make assumptions based on that. Rs need to purge the liberals from their ranks even if they lose some seats because of it.

------------

I care about the ideas, not the party label,

as you can see, i think the party label is important not to tarnish.

-----------

I don't want a bunch of "progressive" ideas coming from congressional leadership with an R after their name on the ballot, I just think at the margin having a few people like Scott Brown rather than liberal Dems, is beneficial.

i think the negatives of RINOs outweigh the positives.
