Too many false starts probably has alot to do with it but more than likely the true believers are already in at this point and the rest have decided to sit on the side lines until the report actually comes out. This may be a result of too many false starts before.

My impression of the trading in the last couple of weeks is that the shorts have dug themselves a deeper hole and there only hope is that the report will be negative but they aren't willing to go deeper at this point because there is always someone there to raise the price back up. I really am beginning to wonder about this gap up after a positive report. It could be very exciting to say the least.
