Concurrent is suffering from CableTV subscription decline. CableTV made the mistake of telling people their rates are going up after the promotion. On the other hand, satelliteTV is more and more reasonable in rates and free DVRs.

So, cableTV may have the problem of declining paying users. some blame on internetTV coming in the near future. But the economy worries made people reduce their obligations in spendings, and may go back to DTV converters for free TV broadcasting.

CableTV however, is not pushing broadband internet service, so some revenue is missing. And telephony on cable is still way behind in subscription drive.
