The smallest H-D scooter I'm aware of is the 883.
harley-davidson.com

They used to market some dirt bikes in the 250cc range back in the '60s.

Well, no. The bikes they are importing as kits are like the US line, normal high end product, for the aspiring dentist/doctor class that wants driveway candy. (;->

For old school cheap, they'd have to go back to this,
which would be high-tech for India...


Of note, someone mentioned some 2 strokes they used to have, and as I remember, they were Italian imports, and pure junk.
(A bud has 3 of them in original junk condition)
Also junk were their US made snowmobile venture.
We called 'em lead sleds.

Here was their attempt at personal watercraft, it didn't 'pan' out
