Capitol Hill Democrats have long threatened to make card check legal, and Sen. Tom Harkin, D-Iowa, chairman of the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions committee, has threatened to bring up card check legislation in the lame duck.

I've decided that this 'lame duck' session of congress will just be 'lame'. Let them bring up card check, I'd bet at this point they haven't got enough dems that'll vote for it after the drubbing they just took. If somehow they manage to pass it over the objections of a clear majority of Americans the red states will just outlaw it..... Just one more indicator of just how disconnected this administration is from the people.

We're almost to the point of open warfare between the state and fed.

unions might be in a world of hurt very soon.

Private sector unions, perhaps. They're rapidly becoming an endangered species.

However, it's the government unions that are the bulls in the china shop, riding the taxpayer gravy train and bankrupting states and municipalities with outrageous and escalating wages and benefits that far outstrip those in the private sector. They should never have been allowed in the first place and should be abolished.

Here's a letter from a socialist bimbo in Washington DC, whining about the secret ballot measures that passed in those four states. What a joke!!
