My apologies are in order, and are extended herewith. My projection was based on a miscalculation. It was not based on a "feeling," nor was it based on any "inside information". I owned 275,000 shares of BCMD when I joined this thread, and have now more than doubled that position, with about 20 per cent of my shares picked up yesterday at bargain prices. I have also done a tremendous amount of scalping in the stock, and my past observations (of the effects on the price action of the stock of my own limit order placements (and occasional market order placements)), combined with the early technical patterns already well-observed by earlier posters, snookered me into an incorrect assessment of the impact which several forces within my own control would have yesterday afternoon. Other forces were more powerful, to my disappointment. I shared a view which was based on a calculated estimate, but doubtless the fact that I shared it was based in part on enthusiasm, which is not an entirely new phenomenon on this thread. If anyone has made investment decisions based on anything posted on this (or any SI) thread, he is a foolish individual, but in any case I extend my apology to such a fool if my incorrect estimate contributes temporarily to a loss of personal fortune. Worse things have happened than my being wrong, and in fact that -- my being wrong -- has happened before. I have a great certainty that I am right in a more general way, both about another upward spike that is coming very, very soon, and about the mid-term future for this stock which has encouraged me to take a good-sized position. All that being said, I am amused by the sanctimonious silliness spouted by a few of the less serious (though not in all cases less verbose) participants in this thread, on the general topic of credibility, mine and, I assume they hoped by extension, theirs. I trust I didn't pull these folks too long away from activities such as calling in to radio talk shows. Lest any seeming lack of respect for any thread participant shine sinisterly through any sentence herein, I should close by saying that I have tremendous respect and appreciation for the folks like Martin, Gary, Darlene, Paul, Express and Charger who have done the heavy lifting on this thread. I think that it is important for each of us to find a forum where we can take ourselves seriously and believe ourselves credible to others, even if only for a while, and sometimes it helps if we give ourselves a formal title. All the best, Mr. Oscar
