Hi Steve -

Re: Gas Natural Inc. (EGAS)

InPlay: Gas Natural prices an underwritten public offering of 2.1 mln shares of its common stock, of which 1.76 mln shares will be sold by co and 340K shares will be sold by certain selling shareholders, at a price of $10.00 per shareBriefing.com(Wed 6:56AM EST)

What do you make of the final pricing of the offering @ $10.00/share? The stock is trading down to $9.78/share that represents a yield of 5.5%. Their PE at 6 is quite attractive but I see that Yahoo shows no forward PE. Analysts do see operating earnings growing at 10%-12% which is excellent growth if they can maintain this rate. Not too sure if this is considered a dividend growth play but they do have a history of dividend payments (over 20 years). I do like that they pay their dividend monthly (since 2007) too.

Gas Natural: Secondary Offering and Insider Selling, Part II

I increased my previous tracking position by 150% in the taxable account and started a new position in the IRA.

Sold some CMCSA (in both the IRA and taxable account) to fund the buy. CMCSA has been disappointing as I sacrificed a low dividend yield for growth and only got a higher cable bill not a higher stock price.

"Bought my sister 650 shares of EGAS @ $9.80."

Thought sure $11 by now. Had to sell 100 shares at 10.80 so this months withdrawal would be covered.
