You just provided the example I have been providing to people who report to me at work. They all have household incomes over $100K. No doubt when I am complaining about taxes they think I am the target and they are not.

The people presently paying all the income taxes will be the same ones they come back to. A small minority of people pay and the vast majority keep voting for pay raises.

I dont have a problem with raising taxes in $250K and above, I just think it wont make a tremendous difference.

The problem is probably 2/3 spending and 1/3 taxes.
