John, I posted to you yesterday about the aggregate inflation numbers the govt. publishes. They EXCLUDE energy and food. Unlike other countries, we, for some unknown reason, have an inflation formula that does not include food and energy prices. So families can be paying more for gasoline and heating oil and food, as they are now, and it will not be reflected in the aggregate inflation numbers. Palin is basically correct in what she was saying. Even David Gergen said so last night on CNN. Facts matter. These pundits who are trashing her don't even know how inflation numbers are calculated.
