<< Athiest Manifesto? You are confusing this with the two Humanist Manifestos. A friend of mine recently debated Paul Kurtz, who was involved with both. >>

I am not confusing the two. Pat Buchanan was trying to link the two. I stated that I was not aware of an Atheist one.

<< Well, Del, apparently you don't think it's fair that atheism should be held accountable for the actions of the USSR, perhaps the most militantly atheist society in history. Yet you are eager to blame Christianity for the actions of all its adherents. My, my. Isn't what's good for the goose good for the gander? >>

Christians are very oganized with members from different countries linked together with a hierarchy approved of by the body. If their leaders do wrong and there is not protest by the body, I held them accountable. There is no Atheist hierarchy that I know of and no cooperation amoung Atheists of different countries. When Madalyn O'Hair visited China about 15 years ago, the officials didn't even know who she was. Would you hold an independent voter accountable for the misdeeds of an independent president, if we ever elect one, even if he didn't vote for him/her? And every independent thereafter?

I have spent several hours trying to find a photograph of the specific belt buckle, and will spend no more time. The point is that Hitler was not an Atheist and indeed was a follower of Luther, and used many of his ideas.
